The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Kelvin Ighodaro Eguakun, has felicitated with Muslims in Egor, Edo State, and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In his goodwill message, Dr. Eguakun described the Prophet as “a shining example of love, peace, humility, tolerance, and selfless service to humanity,” urging the faithful to reflect on these virtues as they celebrate.
He called on Muslims and all residents of Egor Local Government Area to use the season to strengthen the bonds of unity and peaceful coexistence across lines of religion, ethnicity, and politics.
“As we mark this special day, let us continue to pray for the growth of our local government, Edo State, and Nigeria at large,” he said.
The council boss prayed that the season would bring joy, blessings, and prosperity to every home.
“Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters,” he concluded.
