Nigeria’s Falconets will face a tough group stage at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup after being drawn against European champions Spain, Asian side China PR, and Oceania’s New Caledonia.
The team secured qualification following another strong campaign and will look to carry that form onto the global stage
The Falconets are one of Africa’s most successful teams in the tournament’s history. They’ve reached the final twice and consistently advanced to the knockout rounds, making them one of the most consistent sides in U-20 Women’s World Cup history.
