November 3, 2025 — The Okeadu family of Imo State is desperate for answers after their 33-year-old son, Obinna Okeadu, reportedly died in Myanmar under suspicious circumstances. The engineer from Mbano traveled to the Southeast Asian country in August for a factory job that later proved to be a scam.
A source in the same location claims Obinna was held captive, unable to communicate.
Other trapped Nigerians allege he was injected with toxins, beaten, and possibly had organs removed.
“We want clarity,” said Obinna’s brother, Okechukwu. “What happened to our son? We urge the Nigerian government, Foreign Affairs, NiDCOM, and international agencies to investigate.”
