The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has apprehended 43 criminal suspects involved in various offenses, including culpable homicide, kidnapping, armed robbery, stealing, ‘one chance,’ illegal possession of firearms, cultism, and carjacking.
Among the arrests, 11 individuals were caught in connection with ‘one chance,’ seven for alleged kidnapping, and one for cultism. Additionally, one suspected kidnapper was killed.
The police recovered 30 pieces of ammunition, five firearms, and three stolen vehicles. Notable incidents include the arrest of a duo attempting to sell a stolen vehicle and the capture of a one-chance syndicate known as “Open and Close.” Other arrests involved suspects in a robbery gang and an armed robbery attempt on Yar’Adua Expressway. The suspects are facing investigation and will be brought to court once the process is complete.
