The award filmmaker, and producer Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, has called on the society, government to recognize icons in the country.
Imasuen stated this in an interview with Obaland land tv in film house academy in Benin city.
The filmmaker who produces, ebuwa, isakaba, ikuemitima, evasion 1889, and many other movies, said he has been recognized by the late oba Erediauwa of Benin kingdom, which was received by his father and since then has been receiving many awards.
he said he is also a member of IOM, which fight against irregular migration in the country. he said he uses his film in promoting culture and telling people how to live in society.
Imasuen later pays tribute to the late iconic singer ambassador Osayomore Joseph, he said Osayomore Joseph was a great singer from the early 50th, and he said societies, and the government needs to recognize icons in the country and give awards to musicians, and actors in the entertainment industries.
