1. In order to resolve the ongoing labor dispute with the Federal Government without jeopardizing the interests and welfare of the nation’s intellectuals, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has made an appeal for the patience of students, parents, and concerned Nigerians.

2. On Tuesday, Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom submitted to the House of Assembly a draft budget of N179.7 billion for the fiscal year 2023. When Ortom presented the N179,750 billion estimate to the lawmakers, he hinted that N106.1 billion of that sum would be used for ongoing expenses.
