Nigeria Powerlifting Federation President and US-based World Natural Strongman, Amos Erepadei Sunday a.k.a Sunny Power has moved to his Home town Yenagoia in Bayelsa State to meet with the Governor to discuss the tournament on his name and appreciate the Sports -Loving people who supported him in his career.
The Bayelsa State-born -Powerlifting Coach told Obaland Magazine that “with my international exposure and experience, I am going to bring international investors into the State to support and sponsor Powerlifting events and also appealed to the governor to support the Power Sports which has given me and many Nigerians International exposure and a career.”

Sunny Power as he is fonding called explained that his plan is to make Powerlifting popular in his State since Bayelsa State is the strongest people in Nigeria.
Amos revealed that he is here to create more awareness so many young people will be engaged, and it will reduce Youth unrest in the Country.
President of the Federation explained that “Our mission is to Partner with Ministry of Youth and Sports, Multinational Companies based in Nigeria, other Government Institutions and Stakeholders in Sports Development, through our event of constant Competition to engage our Youths through Strength and Power Sports.”
Nigeria Powerlifting Federation added that “I will be working with the Federal Government through Sports Ministry; I will also be working with all 36 States of the Federations through their commissioners and director of Sports and also make sure Powerlifting and Strongest Man Sports is included in National Sports Festival in the Country.
The Coach on Strength and Power/Fitness Consultant concluded that there will be an Annual Open Powerlifting Championship, Constant Media Talk about Strength, Catch them Young, Talent Hunting, and Cash Award will be put in place, also annual Coaching Seminar will be organized for Coaches to improve their techniques.
