The Nigerian women's basketball team, D'Tigress, has advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 FIBA Women's AfroBasket with a dominating 83-47 victory over Cameroon. The six-time and defending champions will now face Senegal in the next stage of the competition. The quarterfinals match started with Cameroon taking an early lead, opening the game on a 4-0 run. However, Nigeria quickly responded, going up 7-4. The depth of Coach Rena Wakama's side soon overwhelmed the Cameroonian team, which appeared fatigued after a demanding late-night qualification clash against Angola. The Nigerian team dominated the game, showcasing their skill and experience. The team's depth and talent were too much for Cameroon to handle, leading to a convincing 36-point victory. D'Tigress will now face Senegal in the semifinals, looking to continue their impressive performance and make a strong bid for their seventh title. The team's next match will be a crucial test of their skills and determination. Who is John Joshua?

I’m in my late 20s…single and I have OND in accounting ..I’m an actor, master of ceremony and a standup comedian. I am one of the lead actors on the comedy series on DSTV n GOTV Africa magic family called HUSTLE..where I play the role of Razak. Also, have a  YouTube channel called Naijas craziest. Where I play the role of Mr Cresident and Danladi De Aboki.I have a production called Havilah  Production House. where I train people on acting, some of my students have graduated grew up in a very crazy environment where we have most cultist, weed seller, armed robbers, hideout..the place is close to a canal. My parents don’t have at all I mean at all, am from a family of 5, four boys and a girl.I have a foundation called Feed De Street where we target five hundred beggars cook and share with them on the street. I got a passion to help I just love to help people, that’s why I called myself a future philanthropist.I don’t joke with things of God.
Can you tell me how this virus and lock down affected you?
The virus at first I’m not scared of anything because I believe this virus can’t come close to me…because I have scaled through so many viruses even when it’s close it doesn’t get to me. Later If you feel like I have a cold I will be like is this the symptoms later I will just summon the courage that Jesus over every virus.
The lockdown affects me the way it’s affecting everyone, I needed to go outside Lagos for a project proposal with the governor of a state, I got series to shoot, want to collect some money from my fans abroad for the job I did for them,.but couldn’t get it because of this issues, the most annoying part of it is no bus and I hate it sitting down at home without going to church, I just can’t take it for real.
How have you been coping since?
What can I do? I just have to adhere to it, stay indoors. But I don’t follow the steps not to contact the virus-like washing hands regularly etc.I’m not interested in that I’m a strong believer that it can never ever come close, so just here following the situation.
What have you been doing since the lockdown?
Been indoor sometimes I call friends who are close by to shoot short skit,.thou have been doing that anyway, but the stress the guys go through before getting to my place is the issue, just stay indoor if I feel like to shoot skit if any idea comes I do it but most time no one to do it with my friends comes around.
I grew up without going out, staying indoor I’m used to it, the lockdown makes it known to me that health is wealth…and it makes me stay glued to my tv to know the latest around the world, just not happy the way big churches handle this situation of covid19.
Some still ask members to pay money online. It is crazy and uncalled for the church that has received a lot from members can’t share something …at all hand, sanitizer is not bad or share rice self, yet they still want to collect, so sad to see such online.
Have been able to do a skit about stay home stay safe, telling people to follow the due steps in order not to contact Coronavirus. Even if I don’t follow the step
