Meet Gospel singer who is in love with photograph Ibukun Fatoyinbo. She chatted with Chidinma Tijani Obaland Magazine recently about how she started music and more.
Ibukun is a gospel singer and loves photography. She’s a wife and mother of two boys. Her family is a lover of music which also makes it easy for her career. Her inspiration comes from her experiences with God and the Bible. My utmost desire is to lead this generation into worship to glorify God.
Meet gospel singer who married musician as a husband. They both share the same dream of making music greater than sound has been one of the biggest parts of my life and blessed enough, my husband sings as well. This makes it easier for me cause he understands.
My name is Mrs. Fatoyinbo Ibukun Queen. I am a wife and a mother. I grew up into music, I started performing at nursery 2 class and I will l say I’m a natural. I got inspired by the songs I listened to. If they could make music, then I can, and yes.
I started composing at midnight when my world is asleep. I create gospel songs through what I’m passing through or the Bible.
Typically I do major genres of songs.
My creative process starts by getting a rhythm starting with the chorus and once I grab my pen and paper or recorder, I’m good to go.
I would love to collaborate with my husband Ade Adegoke Fatoyinbo and several other Gospel Artist specially Taya Gaukrodger, Hillsong.
I will advise that don’t let anything exciting kill your passion for God, because from thence
comes every inspiration to sing your heart out to him and for Him.
Whenever a song comes into my mind, I would be making dresses.
I would have to seat because I’ll need hours to explain where and when I have sung including Aso Rock, South Africa Durban, etc.
My favorite venues to perform was at the Coliseum and Eko Hotels.
