On Friday, a Toyota Sienna plowed into a truck on the Ogun State axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, killing three people andAbuja client flees with N55m Benz during test drive 30th June 2023 injuring one more.
the incident was confirmed by Florence Okpe, Public Education Officer for the Ogun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
Okpe said the mishap included a Toyota Sienna vehicle with enlistment number BDG 426 HT and a DAF truck checked RNG 558 XC. She explained that the accident occurred near the expressway’s Total gas station.
She claims that the accident involved seven people, including one child, two adults, four men, and two women.
Okpe credited the reason for the mishap to speed with respect to the Sienna driver. She claimed that the Sienna driver struck the DAF truck as it was leaving the trailer park.
According to Okpe, the injured victim was transported to Isaara General Hospital for treatment, and the bodies were placed in the FOS morgue in Ipara.
“The traffic situation is still being managed by operations on the ground.
“The Sector Commander has advised motorists to use common sense speed limits and warned them against going too fast.”
