According to FCInterNews.it, Lautaro is expected to put pen to paper on a new contract with Inter by the end of this season Obaland magazine learned that the next meeting between the parties will take place before the end of next month when the striker’s representatives return to Milan.
Lautaro’s agents are said to be hoping that Inter’s corporate situation will have improved by that point, with owners Suning currently in talks with British-based fund BC Partners to sell shares in the club.
The report goes on to explain that the contract is practically ready but there is still some patience required in order to finalize things.
Lautaro is under contract with Inter until 2023 but appears set to extend his stay with the club in the not so distant future.
The 23-year-old has made 27 appearances for Antonio Conte’s side this season, in which he has scored 10 goals and provided five assists for his teammates.
