Barely four days of his assumption of office as the 50th Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc immediately hit the ground running.
On Thursday, 10th April, 2025, CP Agbonika accompanied his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Sen Monday Okpebholo with the entourage from Kano State led by the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, to Uromi over the recent killing.
The Commissioner of Police visited Uromi, Ubiaja, Irrua, Ekpoma, Auchi, and Igarra. During the visits, the CP engaged with stakeholders, paramount rulers, traditional chiefs, community leaders, youth leaders, members of the Vigilantes and hunters, etc. He further visited all the flash points identified to be used by criminals for their nefarious activities.
The sole message during these visits, which lasted till saturday, 12th April 2025, was a call for everyone to get involved in the security of their various communities through.
The various stakeholders all pledged their resolve to work with the command to achieve a secured Edo State.
