According to Sunday Abutu, the Police Relations Officer for the Ekiti State Police Command, Ndagi was last seen leaving his residence on his red Bajaj motorcycle at approximately 6 AM. Since that time, there has been no trace of him, prompting the police to take action.

In an official statement released on Tuesday, titled “Missing Person,” Abutu detailed the circumstances of Ndagi’s disappearance. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, noting that family and community members have been actively searching for him without any leads.

“Ndagi left home for an unknown destination and has not returned since. All efforts to ascertain his whereabouts have been futile,” Abutu stated.

Describing Ndagi’s physical characteristics, the police spokesperson mentioned that he is dark-complexioned, stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and speaks both Nupe and English fluently. Importantly, he has no tribal marks, which could aid in identifying him.

The police have urged the public to assist in the search for Ndagi by reporting any information that could lead to his discovery. Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to contact their nearest police station or call the designated phone numbers: 09064050089 or 09060373737. This call for assistance highlights the critical role that community involvement can play in resolving such cases.

The incident has raised concerns among residents of Ekiti State, prompting discussions about safety and the need for vigilance in the community. As families and friends of Ndagi await news of his whereabouts, the Ekiti State Police Command remains committed to conducting a thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

This case serves as a poignant reminder of the challenges faced in ensuring the safety of individuals within communities. As the investigation unfolds, the hope remains that Hussain Ndagi will be found safe and sound, and that his family will receive the closure they desperately seek.
