Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the most powerful Igbo cultural and social organization, has criticized reports about the Lagos State Government's decision to target Igbo residents. This was the result of a number of responses to the state government's decision to demolish the Alaba International Market in the Ojo Local Government Area. Head supervisor of the Lagos State Building Control Organization, Gbolahan Oki, had prior reported during an appraisal visit to the market on Friday that the arranged destruction of a portion of the structures had been set apart with quit notice beginning around 2016, adding that the cycle had been welcomed with analysis with claims that the choice was focused on at Igbo individuals on the lookout.
