Mfawa Omini Abam, Nigeria Ambassador to Italy lays mother to rest
The funeral service of Late Deaconess Mrs Enoh Onen Abam JP at the Apostolic Church, Njelekoko, Central field, Ugep, Yakurr, Cross River on the 9th and 10th of March 2024, as the officiating ministers started with the order of service, as persons arrived the church, with the church members, family, ministers, dignitaries, and other invited guests in attendance.
The body of Ma Abam with the witness band who carried her courageously alongside her family entered the church. Hymn, prayers and bible text reading took place immediately.
Ma Abram’s biography was read aloud, words of attestation was also read as well as tributes and condolence messages from family, church and dignitaries of which some sent their representatives to give their heartfelt messages.
Music was the order of the day as Late Ma Abam loved music, people danced and the message was preached by the pastor after which they all marched to the graveside.
The interment took place after the choir led in songs.
Ma Abam was survived by 8 children, 7 Step children, 30 Grandchildren, 8 Brothers and sisters, 39 Nephews and Nieces, 9 In laws, 7 Daughters/sons in law, also cousins who are too numerous to count.
The thanksgiving also took place as people from all walks of life celebrated and comforted His Excellency, Ambassador Mfawa Omini Abam, Ambassador of Nigeria to Italy and the entire family.
