Twenty suspects were paraded by police on Friday in Abuja for charges such as conspiracy, attempted murder, murder, kidnapping, armedAbuja vagrant shot by vigilantes goes through a medical procedure thirteenth July 2023 robbery, and drug possession, among others.

The suspect, in a meeting with columnists, conceded that the assault on the minister was intended to kill him.

Along the Benin-Auchi Road in Edo State, gunmen attacked the cleric’s convoy and killed six people, including three police officers.

Tending to columnists while strutting the suspect and others in Abuja, the Power Advertising Official, Muyiwa Adejobi, expressed agents of the Knowledge Quick Group captured Isah following a serious examination.

Isah told journalists that he and his gang followed the pastor until they reached the point where five AK-47 riffles attacked him.

“The attack on him (Suleman) was to kill him,” he stated. I didn’t participate in the discussion; Ilayasu and Labisca were the ones engaged with the conversation.

“We went after him with five AK 47 rifles. Labisca followed him from where he was coming from to the place where we went after him.”

The police representative affirmed that five AK 47 riffles, two K2 rifles and 180 live ammo were recuperated from the suspect.

“Following a concentrated examination concerning the deadly assault on the escort of Missionary Johnson Suleman along Benin-Auchi Street wherein six individuals, including three police staff, were frightfully killed, agents of Lie IRT on the path of the attackers caught one Yusuf Isah, a local of Okene, Kogi State and a handyman, at Agbaraoluwa Stage 2 Ijoka, Akure, Ondo State and recuperated five AK 47 rifles, two K2 attack rifles, 180 live ammo and four thought IEDs tracked down in his condo,” Adejobi said.

The FPRO expressed a portion of the rifles found with the suspect were grabbed from the three police officers killed during the assault.

He stated that the suspect had admitted that the gang had taken an oil magnate and a businessman and paid them N70 million and N2 million, respectively, to free them.

Adejobi added, “The suspect admitted that he joined the horrible group in 2021 after he was liberated from Olokuta Remedial Center where he was on remand beginning around 2019 for supposed association in outfitted burglary.

“The group specializes in kidnapping for a ransom, and between 2021 and 2023, it carried out approximately four kidnappings, including an attack on the cleric’s convoy before the gang was eventually caught by the police.

“The suspect admitted that the pack was liable for the capture of a famous oil seller at Jetu, Auchi in 2022, where they got a payment of about N70m before his delivery. The group similarly did the grabbing of a money manager along the Benin-Agbor Freeway in 2022 and gathered N20m as payoff from the casualty’s loved ones.”

He, notwithstanding, said two individuals from the seven-man posse were gunned down in discrete experiences with the police, adding that endeavors are progressing to catch different suspects who are currently at large.

Likewise strutted were Emu Chidiebere, 34, Samuel Balogun, 22, Babatunde Femi, 30, and Nneka Opara, 32, who were captured for hijacking.

The main suspect, Chidiebere, was said to have lured a Swiss citizen to Nigeria by posing as a Gold transaction agent.

“The suspects kept the casualty on lock down in the condo from May 30, 2023, to June 2, 2023.

“The suspects took photos of the person in question and sent the photos and undermining messages to the sweetheart of the casualty in Zurich, who in the end sent them $2000 by means of Western Association on June 1, 2023. Adejobi went on to say that after receiving the report, FIB-IRT agents were dispatched to the case and successfully apprehended the suspects.

He added that the power, over the most recent two months, captured 548 outfitted burglary suspects, 242 abducting suspects, 365 homicide/murder suspects and around 237 suspects for assault/pollution.

He went on to say that 113 kidnapped victims were rescued during that time.
