Management, staff, coaching crew, and players of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Nasarawa United FC, today, paid a condolence visit to the family of Late Lobi Stars’ Team Manager, Barnabas Imienger.

Chairman of Nasarawa United, Barr. Isaac Danladi led the large delegation of the Lafia-based outfit to the residence of the late former Nigerian international footballer in Makurdi, Benue State.
Delivering the Club’s message of condolence to the deceased children, Barr. Danladi said:
“We have come to condole with you, your entire family, and Lobi Stars’ family over this unfortunate incident.
“Your father was a nice man, very unassuming, easy-going,  friendly and very loving, and, of course, a wonderful father and husband prior to his death.
“We all love him, but God loves him most.”
The Solid Miners’ supremo stated that no one could question God’s decisions as he encouraged the Imienger’s family to take solace in their current predicament.
“Kindly see this as an act of God because the Holy Scripture tells us to give glory to God in whatever situation we find ourselves.
“Some of us have passed through the condition you are passing through now, and our joy is that you and your sister are handling the situation with unbelievable maturity.”
While praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased, Barr. Danladi assured the Imienger family, especially Barnabas Imienger Jnr. who plies his trade with Nasarawa United FC, of a seamless working relationship, going forward.
“May the gentle soul of your father continue to rest in peace with the Lord, and my God, who is father to the fatherless, grant you the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. Amen!
“Going forward, rest assured that we are solidly behind you, Barnabas Imienger Jnr. as you continue to pursue your professional football career with us”, he concluded.
Reacting, the first son of the late Team Manager, Barnabas Imienger Jnr, thanked Nasarawa United for the visit.
“I just want to use this medium, on behalf of my family, to say thank you for visiting us.
“Now I know I have an extended family in Nasarawa United FC.
“It’s my prayer that in this course we are all fighting for, we shall be successful together.”
The late Lobi Stars’ Team Manager had died at the National Hospital, Abuja, in the early hours of Monday, 22nd March 2021, following a prolonged illness, leaving behind two children, including Barnabas Imienger Jnr who plays with Nasarawa United FC of Lafia
