Since the CoronaVirus pandemic kept ravaging the world,  so many cultural events had been reported postponed or closed, luckily for Nigerians in the diaspora who had to adhere to social distancing principles and participated in obtaining the ongoing  convid-19  vaccination to finally receive Convid-19 green pass certificate, had been an inspiration behind the Nigeria Embassy in Rome -Italy spearheaded by His Excellency, Ambassador Mfawa Omini Abam to host this year’s Nigeria’s Independence day with Nigerians in the diaspora. Nigerian Embassy Rome- Italy,  which is also a Nigerian Government arm,  had decided to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day on the 2nd of October  2021,  to socialize and discuss the way forward in a more civilised manner by respecting the Covid-19 principles such as face mask, sanitiser and social distancing as to demonstrate integration in a foreign land.

“Cultural activities, Tourism in Nigeria alongside Business opportunities will be discussed with Investors, we as the Federal Government of Nigeria’s representative will guarantee every nation who wishes to trade in our country Nigeria,” said the sitting Ambassador.
