The police received an claiming that he had killed his son and buried him in a shallow grave under a banana tree behind their house.
Upon interrogation, confessed that his son was involved in criminal activities, which embarrassed him, leading him and his wife to decide to kill the boy.
In a separate incident, the police have arrested 25 individuals in connection with a cult clash in Owo town, where four persons were allegedly killed. One of the suspects, Olamide Ogunseyila, confessed to being a member of a cult group.
