Sir, I want the National body of PDP to be aware of the last chairmanship election guide-line in Edo state which states and I quote’ “that one must have to win his/her unit and ward before being qualified for the primaries particularly in Edo north where the deputy Governor hails from.”
and he the deputy Governor fully supported the guild-line. and In accordance with this guild-line one will also expect that the governorship aspirants should also be critically screened by showing their unit and ward results for the last national and state elections amongst other things.
For what is good for the goose is good for the gander. *That is to say treat Peter the way you treat Paul.*
The last meeting I held with some of the chairmanship aspirants who bought forms are more than (27) and were screened out because they didn’t win their units and wards respectively because the guildline came out after so many have bought forms, In this regard we have all decided and agreed that justice, equity and fairness should be served, the guild-line should come out before 10th as sales of forms for Governorship kicks off.
Furthermore, those that couldn’t win their unit and ward should please desist from going to Abuja to buy Governorship form and they should be mandated to join the party in Solidarity for this 2024 election so that the party can come out victorious. *I think it’s important you look critically to my open letter sir.*
In conclusion, what is accepted for one person in a particular situation should be acceptable for another person in a similar situation.
