Osawaru made the declaration at the All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat in Ehor, where he addressed party members and presented his stewardship over the past two and a half years.

He highlighted key legislative efforts, including a bill proposing the establishment of a Federal Medical Centre in Uhunmwonde, and outlined several constituency projects.

According to him, more than 13 industrial water projects have been delivered across communities in the area, alongside solar lighting installations in Uhi, Iguiye, Idumwinye, Uvbe Nisi, and other locations.

The lawmaker also explained developments surrounding projects such as the Igueiudu water scheme, while educating constituents on legislative processes, including the roles of first-time and ranking lawmakers, and the benefits of continuity in representation.

Osawaru called for unity among party members, urging supporters to avoid political rancour and embrace peaceful engagement ahead of the elections.

He appealed for forgiveness from anyone he may have offended, stressing the need to work collectively for the constituency’s progress.

Welcoming the lawmaker, the APC Chairman in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area, Mr. Osayemwere Osawe, said Osawaru’s visit was to formally seek support for his re-election bid.

Several party leaders and stakeholders were present, including local government officials and political figures from across the constituency.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Roland Alari advised aspirants and supporters to avoid personal attacks, noting that elections should not create divisions within the party.

The campaign train also moved to Abudu in Orhionmwon Local Government Area, where Osawaru was received by supporters and party leaders.

Among those present were APC Chairman in Orhionmwon, Mr. Julius Agbonze, and former members of the House of Representatives, including Rt. Hon. Samson Osagie and Rt. Hon. Patrick Asoweiren.

Addressing the gathering, a leader from Uhunmwonde thanked party leaders and constituents for their continued support, urging them to back Osawaru’s second-term bid. He noted that previous representatives had completed their tenures and called for continuity, describing Osawaru as capable of delivering more if re-elected.

Osawaru, in his remarks, also referenced ongoing legislative efforts, including a bill for the creation of additional local government areas in Orhionmwon, and another proposing the establishment of a federal university in the area, which he said has passed second reading.

He reiterated his commitment to constituency development, citing projects executed across various wards, and pledged to build on his achievements if given another mandate.

Party leaders at the event commended his performance and encouraged him to continue his campaign with civility and focus on development.
