It was a gathering of who is who in the society, yesterday, at Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, as Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, laid his father to rest.
The father of the Minister, Pa. Mathias Keyamo, passed on at the age of 83 on Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Effurun in the Uvwie Local Government Area of the state.
Among prominent dignitaries at the funeral included the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Deputy President of the Senate, Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
Other notable figures at the final burial rite were the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, and the Secretary to the Delta state government Chief Patrick Ukah among others.
