‎The Turkish giants announced the high-profile move on Thursday, stating: “Regarding the transfer of professional footballer Victor James Osimhen, an agreement has been reached with his club, SSC Napoli SPA. In this context, a net transfer fee of €75,000,000 will be paid to the player’s former club.”

‎

‎Osimhen, 26, has signed a four-year contract with the Istanbul-based club and will earn €15 million per season. In addition, he will receive a €1 million loyalty bonus and €5 million for image rights. As part of the deal, Napoli will receive 10 per cent of the profit from any future sale of the player. The contract also includes a clause restricting Osimhen from joining any Serie A club within the next two years.

‎

‎The Nigerian forward expressed his delight at returning to Galatasaray, where he spent a highly successful loan spell last season. “I’m feeling truly great right now. I’m so happy to be a part of the Galatasaray family again,” Osimhen said in an interview with the club’s official website.

‎

‎He added: “You know my quality from last season. I believe that next season, with the quality of both myself and my teammates, we will achieve even greater success with a much greater sense of belonging. We will give our all on the pitch not only in the league and cup, but also in the Champions League, one of our main goals.”

‎

‎Osimhen was instrumental in Galatasaray’s domestic double last season, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances. His performances made him a fan favourite and a key figure in the team’s resurgence.
