The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday convened its 102nd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
Images shared on the party’s social media platforms showed members in high spirits, with singing and cheering setting a convivial atmosphere as leaders, governors, and stakeholders gathered from across the country.
Party insiders described the meeting as a “pivotal moment” for the PDP, outlining its renewed commitment to providing a strong opposition and preparing for a “victorious outing” in the 2027 general elections.
The agenda for the session includes deliberations on the report of the National Zoning Committee as well as preparations for the party’s forthcoming national convention.
According to the party, the gathering reflects its “shared vision and determination to deliver for Nigerians in 2027.”
