PDP’s Reasoning Box Has Reached The Age of Menopause- Ohonbamu

Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon Paul Ohonbamu has strongly condemned the malicious attack on Governor Monday Okpebholo by the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

“It is becoming obvious that the PDP’s Reasoning Box Has Reached the age of Menopause,” Ohonbamu noted.

The PDP Publicity Secretary, Daniel Noah Osa Ogbegie Esq,
alleged that Governor Okpebholo is deploring state resources on political godfathers among others in a statement titled, 65 years After Independence, Edo bleeds under a Rudderless APC government.

The Commissioner who disclosed that these claims are politically motivated urge the public to disregard the false narratives and propaganda aimed at undermining Governor Okpebholo’s administration.

According to the Commissioner, Governor Okpebholo’s leadership is driven by a commitment to public service, not personal interests and will not be intimidated by black mail and propaganda

“The Governor remains committed to providing effective governance, addressing the needs of Edo people, and promoting economic development. He is prepared to work with all stakeholders to build a better future for the state.

“The Governor has ensured that the issue of insecurity in the state which is a national challenge will soon be a thing of the past and no legacy projects, including the Stella Obasanjo Hospital have been abandoned by the administration,” he added.

Ohonbamu therefore urged Edo people to stand in solidarity with Governor Okpebholo and shun blackmail and propaganda of political opponents who never see anything good the administration has embarked upon.

“The allegations of the PDP do not warrant a response because the Governor Okpebholo led administration will rather focus on building on the SHINE Agenda- that benefits our state.”

“The Government will not be distracted by negativity that doesn’t contribute meaningfully to the development of the state,” the Commissioner added.
