Ekiti State Police Commissioner, Ognndare Dare, has expressed strong dissatisfaction over the recent daylight bank robbery in Ikere-Ekiti.
In a late-night press release, Dare assured the public that a comprehensive investigation is underway to track, arrest, and prosecute the perpetrators.
The PUNCH reported that armed robbers targeted two new-generation banks, using dynamite to breach doors and fleeing with an undisclosed sum. Tragically, three individuals are feared dead, with reports of a blood-soaked body found at one bank and two others killed in a different location.
