The Commissioner who disclosed this in Abuja, shortly after the supreme court dismissed the Petition Challenging the Edo Governorship election, noted that with this outcome of the election as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC Edo people have now been vindicated that they voted for a visionary leader who has been destined to make Edo rise again.

“Today, Edo people celebrate a significant victory for our state from the hands of those who are more concerned about their personal interest, and watch the people suffer untold hardship.

“We celebrate a significant victory as our elected Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo emerges triumphant from the Supreme Court to give selfless service to his people.

” This milestone no doubt is a testament to the trust in the leadership qualities of the Governor who has demonstrated his resolve to make Edo State one of the foremost leading states in the country in all ramifications,” Hon Ohonbamu added.

According to him, ” with this verdict by the apex court, let us unite in supporting our elected Governor as the government continue to work tirelessly for the good of our state.

“The Governor is on a mission to prove a point, that Edo has Risen. Together, we can build a brighter future and over come the challenges of the past.

“This is a clarion call on everybody to rally behind our Governor and work collaboratively to drive progress and prosperity for all with the Project ‘SHINE’ agenda.
