In a tragic incident on December 18, 2023, two individuals lost their lives, and eight others sustained injuries in a road crash along the Idiroko-Ota road.
The Federal Road Safety Corps reported that the collision involved a Man Diesel truck and a Toyota Carina, resulting from wrongful overtaking.
The injured were taken to General Hospital, Idiroko, for treatment, while the deceased were claimed by their family. The FRSC emphasized the importance of clear vision and controlled speed at night, urging motorists to exercise caution.
