Warri Wolves FC  retain 20,players for the new season——Azuka  Chiemeka

Management of Warri Wolves F.C has retained only twenty players that featured for the team in the 2019/ 2020 season.
The CEO, of the ‘Sea Siders’, Etu Moses made this known, as he says, preparations by the club for the new season is almost done and dusted.
The Warri Wolves’ boss confirmed that the players whose services were needed for the coming season have been contacted and are expected to join the club’s training camp as soon as normal sporting activities resume in the country.
“We have started preparations for the coming season as we have made contacts with the players needed to help us achieve our target for the new season, we have also silently traded at the transfer market and contacted some players that will be joining us from other clubs, as soon as we conclude negotiations with them, they will be unveiled.
Only twenty of the players that featured for us last season will be privileged to wear the club’s jersey in the coming season”
The club CEO, further said the rebranding process of Warri Wolves which started last season will be one of the top priorities for the club next season.
“ Considering what is happening globally with reference to the coronavirus, the club before the shut down of sporting activities in the country has purchased some equipment that will be put in place to ensure the safety of players, fans, and anyone coming to our home ground, the Warri city stadium next season.
Mr. Etu thanked the government and the good people of Delta state for the support and encouragement they received upon the clubs return to the elite division last season.

It would be recalled that Warri Wolves FC ended the 2019/2020 NPFL season on the Seventh position at the end of the season.
