Di disaster happen after ice and rock collapse for di Himalayas trigger massive flood and landslides, sending plenty water and debris down river valleys. Di flood destroy houses, roads, bridges and important infrastructure, while some areas become difficult for rescuers to reach because of thick mud and damaged roads. More than 3,700 pipo don already dey rescued for Nepal, but many families still dey wait for information about their loved ones.

Nepal authorities put di number of missing pipo for their side at about 2,426, while Chinese authorities report more than 550 missing for Tibet, bringing di combined figure close to 3,000. Some victims and missing persons include foreign tourists, workers and pilgrims. Rescue operations also face fresh danger because new glacial water bodies don form for di mountains, raising fears of another flood.
