All is now set for the official launch of the Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation, DOEF and Colloquium with the theme, “Nigeria and the Leadership question: Unlocking the potential for a better tomorrow,”
The Past President, World Medical Association, Dr. Osahon Enabulele is the Director General and convener of the DOEF.
A statement from the DOEF Media and Publicity Committee, the Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty alleviation, Hon (Dr.) Tanko Yusuf Sununu, the Danmadamin of Youri is the Special Guest of Honour at the event to be held at the Akin Deko Auditorium, University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State on January 29th 2025.
The Director-General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs. NIIA, Prof. Eghosa Osaghae is the keynote speaker and the Vice Chancellor, University of Benin, Prof. Edoba Omoregie (SAN) is the Chairman of the occasion.
A former Director General of NTA, Communication Scholar and lawyer, Prof. Tonnie Iredia, OON will be the lead presenter on the sub theme, Election Management and the leadership recruitment process: the way forward and Prof. Friday Okonofua, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology will be the lead presenter on the sub theme, Attainment of Citizens’ Health Rights and Universal Health Coverage.
The event to begin by 10 am is free, but registration is compulsory via www.droenabulelefoundation.org/event
Meanwhile, as part of activities to herald the official launch of the Dr. Osahon Enabulele Foundation, there will be a medical outreach on January 22nd, 2025 at the Iguosa community for staff of the Independent Television, ITV.
According to the medical committee led by Dr. Eferakaya Adego, the medical outreach at Iguosa will include basic medical check up, counselling and appropriate referrals to be made for those who need such medical care.
