The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday, submitted the result of the Edo State Local Government National Delegates Congress to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Chairman of the Edo State PDP Local Government National Delegates Congress Committee, Mr. Nengi Talbot presented the results to INEC officials at the commission’s office in Benin City.
Speaking to journalists while presenting the result to INEC, the chairman of the committee said they successfully conducted the national delegate election across the 18 local councils of Edo State.
He said, “In my hand is a copy of the result we just submitted to INEC. With this submission today, we have completed the national assignment given to us by the PDP national.
“We have successfully conducted the local government congress across all local government areas in the state.”
