Three people are killed by rampaging cultists on July 7, 2023, in Lagos.The Lagos State Police Order has started examination concerning a religion conflict that killed no less than three people Remanded pastor after siblings who died seeking spiritual deliverance on July 7, 2023around Woman Lak, in the Bariga region of the state.

On Friday, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the development to our correspondent.

He stated, “No arrests have yet been made. We only need the word “cult groups” in the law to convict them in court. But it is established that they are cultists.

our correspondent observed, in a video clip shared by a source in the area, that the corpses of three yet-to-be-identified men were lying in a pool of blood with lacerations on the heads of two of the victims. That residents and people returning home from work were thrown into a panic during the cult clash that created tension on Friday.

People in the vicinity were also seen turning the bodies of the victims in the video to identify them.

“Goodness Idris, Serre get up,” the inhabitants said as they were seen crying tears and deploring over the turn of events.

Remarking on the episode, a source in the space said, “Shootings were heard nearby. A few people were hurt. It’s not possible for anyone to say why they were battling however the region is a cultists’ cave.”

An occupant locally, James Taiwo, said three individuals were killed in the assault including faction individuals locally.

,”The previous conflict brought about the passing of three faction individuals, one is a person known as Sere, who’s likewise a Yahoo kid yet very cordial and famous.

“The conflict is a continuation of the power struggle that led to the death of one Aiye Confraternity member when they traveled outside of their territory to attend a birthday party.

“Even though they took a significant risk by attending the party outside of their territory, members of their own Aiye cult group attacked them after an argument about leadership issues. The Idi Aba and Ogundola factions comprise the two factions.

In the meantime, another video from the scene was shared on  governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to increase security in the state.

The ongoing conflict in Lagos State has claimed a lot of lives. This occurred over the course of the night in Bariga, one more safe-house for cultists and crooks. The tweet continued, “I charge at  up the security in Lagos.”
