Scores of demonstrators rioted of Abuja on Thursday to fight President Bola Tinubu’s arrangement of an individual from the People groups Leftist faction, Asu Okang, as the chief addressing Cross Waterway State on the leading body of Niger Delta Improvement Commission.

The dissent is coming on the impact point of a comparative one held in Calabar, Cross Waterway capital, on Wednesday.

Tinubu had on Thursday supported the arrangement of another board and supervisory group for the NDDC.

However, the decision of Okang as the Cross Stream delegate on the NDDC board started fights among the APC allies, who demanded that it would be unreasonable for the President to designate a PDP part to procure their reward for all the hard work.

Thursday’s show in Abuja was driven by a gathering of oppressed party individuals under the aegis of Cross Stream APC Partners.

Reciting fortitude tunes and showing a few pennants that read, “Asu Okang not an APC part” “Cross Waterway an APC State, not PDP” and “Cross Stream rejects Asu Okang as NDDC chief,” the dissidents left on a serene stroll from the well known Solidarity Wellspring to the Public Gathering.

Tending to writers, head of the gathering, Bukkie Okangbe, spoke to the President to compensate their reliability by pulling out Okang and permitting the state lead representative to choose for them.

She said, “We are here since we need to make an impression on the decision party and President Bola Tinubu that shamefulness isn’t great. We will not remain silent as Cross River suffers injustice this season. Assuming we need to fight consistently, we will keep on doing it until we are heard.

“The Cross Waterway partners have been on the ground since yesterday (Wednesday). Our message is clear. It’s not a bad idea to give one of our brothers the NDDC slot. However, we believe that those who work deserve to be rewarded. The first person to reap the benefits of the APC system shouldn’t be someone who opposed it.

“Regardless of whether they say this is a solidarity government, let individuals who work benefit from the prize. We thoroughly reject the space of NDDC given to Asu Okang. We will keep on fighting until the correct thing is finished. There are so many APC stalwarts in Cross Stream who are more qualified that ought to address us in the NDDC. These are individuals who ought to be delegated, not individuals brought from another party. We are consequently dismissing the NDDC space for Cross Stream.

“Assuming our chief, the legislative leader of Cross Waterway State, has been approached to decide for us, no one will be here today. We won’t mind at all. Be that as it may, as long as the hand of the lead representative isn’t there, we will continue fomenting until the correct thing is finished. Cross River State has enough injustice. You are aware that last week we protested our rejection of the Women Leader position.

“That is the reason I mourned before that it is a season for Cross Waterway State to get unfairness from the party. It is so miserable on the grounds that we really buckled down for this Restored Trust. I don’t think this is from Mr President. That is on the grounds that I know what his identity is. I have worked with him three great years before his official political race. I’m certain Mr President will pay attention to us and make the best decision for the APC camp on Cross Waterway State.”

Chiedu Ebie served as chairman for Delta; Samuel Ogbuku served as managing director and CEO for Bayelsa; Boma Iyaye served as executive director of finance and administration for Rivers; Victor Antai served as executive director of Projects for Akwa-Ibom; Ifedayo Abegunde served as executive director for Corporate Services for Ondo; Dimaro Denyanbofa served as state representative for Bayelsa; Abasi Ndikan

Others are Patrick Aisowieren – State Agent (Edo), Kyrian Uchegbu – State Delegate (Imo), Victor Kolade Akinjo – State Agent (Ondo), Dimgba Eruba – State Delegate (Abia), Asu Oku Okang – State Agent (Cross Stream), Scratch Wende – Zonal Agent (North Focal), Namdas Abdulrazak – Zonal Agent (North East) and Ibrahim Abdullahi Gobir – Zonal Agent (North West).NDDC: The Cross River APC protests the appointment of the commissioner in Abuja.
