Obaland Magazine recently Learnt about the Robbery of aged men. This was described as Aggravated robbery and illegal possession and carrying of a common firearm. These are the accusations for the two robbers of the post office via Bligny 8 in Turin, which took place on the morning of Monday 9 August 2021.

The two went into action after reaching the post office aboard a scooter – owned by one of the two – but with a different plate: that of another vehicle had been applied and the loss of which had been reported by the rightful owner.

Then, armed with a semi-automatic pistol and with their faces covered by two full-face helmets, the two robbers aged 60 and 53 threatened their employees and had their cases opened, raiding around 4,200 euros, then fleeing. Always onboard the scooter.

Their escape lasted until Corso San Maurizio, where they were intercepted by the agents of the Flying Squad, despite having tried to escape, splitting up.

One of the two was found in possession of the loot while the second of the weapon used to carry out the robbery, a Glock 9×21, was found stolen during a theft in an apartment in the province of Varese, in 2018.

Under the saddle of the motorcycle, the policemen found plastic electrician ties. Investigators speculate how they were brought to possibly immobilize employees or customers of the post office, in the event that the plan did not go in the best way.

The two are now in prison in Turin. The investigation of the Flying Squad is still ongoing: the policemen are checking whether the two have already acted previously with the same modus operandi. Especially in recent months in the metropolitan area of Turin.
