The Deputy Executive Director (DED) of Africa Network for Environment & Economic Justice (ANEEJ), Comrade Leo Atakpu, is set to be honoured on Sunday 16th of March, 2025, in Benin City.
According to Dr. Bishop Akhalamhe, the Project Coordinator of BA Global Awards, Comrade Leo Atakpu has been penciled down for the prestigious recognition as :” Outstanding Activist Of The Year”, at a special event scheduled to take place at Mela Motels, Uselu, Benin City, Edo State.
Comrade Leo Ohiro Atakpu is a seasoned international civil society activist, who is doing marvelous work in the field of environment and economic justice, while the Africa Network for Environment & Economic Justice (ANEEJ), a non-government organization, whose goal is to amplify the voice of the less privileged and groups living in marginalized situations, is involve in the national and international advocacy on Global Forum on Asset Recovery (GFAR) Principles and the monitoring of the UNCAC implementation in Nigeria.
The upcoming event is the 14th Edition of BA Global Awards.
