Nineteen housemates are up for possible eviction in Week 2 of _Big Brother Naija_ Season 11, following a dramatic nomination session and a last-minute twist from the Head of House.
Monday’s live nomination show set the tone for what promises to be a tense week in the house, as housemates fought to secure safety and avoid joining the growing eviction list.
For the second week running, housemates entered the Diary Room one by one to nominate. Each person was asked to save three fellow housemates they wanted to protect from eviction.
At the end of the process, the four housemates with the highest number of saves were announced as initially safe.
That list was Tram, Barry, Goddessa, and Chimsom Chuka. With that announcement, it looked like the Week 2 eviction pool had been decided.

Head of House for the week, Sheba, exercised her power of veto — a privilege that allows the HoH to remove one person from the eviction list and replace them with another.
Sheba chose to save Chimsom Chuka, pulling him out of danger. In his place, she put up Cassi, who had originally earned enough votes to be safe.
The move immediately changed the dynamics of the week. It also sparked conversations in the house about strategy, alliances, and how much influence the HoH position really carries.
That leaves 19 housemates now depending entirely on public votes to stay in the competition.
The housemates on this list will now campaign for votes from viewers across Nigeria and beyond. Voting lines are open, and the housemates with the lowest number of votes at the end of the week will be evicted during the live show on Sunday.
Last week’s eviction saw the first housemates leave the house, and already cliques, friendships, and rivalries are forming. The nomination process revealed a lot about who is connecting and who is being left out.
Some housemates were visibly shocked to see their names on the list. Others took it in stride, saying they expected it and are ready to fight for public support.
Social media reaction has been immediate. Fans are already debating who deserves to stay, who played the nomination game well, and whether Sheba made the right call with her veto.
Cassi was safe, now she’s up because of HoH power. That’s _BBNaija_ for you,” one fan posted on X.
“Sheba saved Chimsom. Interesting choice. Strategy or friendship?” another wrote.
The Head of House veto is one of the biggest powers in the _BBNaija_ house. It can protect a friend, punish a rival, or completely shift the narrative of the week.
By saving Chimsom Chuka and nominating Cassi, Sheba has put herself in the spotlight. Housemates will now be watching her moves closely, and viewers will be judging whether the decision was fair or biased.
It also means Cassi, who thought she was safe, now has to fight for her place. That kind of sudden change is exactly what _Big Brother_ producers want — drama, unpredictability, and conversation.
From now until Sunday, viewers can vote for the housemates they want to keep. Multiple voting platforms are available, and votes will determine who stays and who goes.
popularity as much as personality. A housemate can be controversial in the house but still be a fan favorite outside. Others can be quiet but have strong fan bases that keep them safe week after week.
With 19 people on the list, the competition for votes will be intense. Expect housemates to turn up their charm, share their stories, and try to connect with the audience during tasks, conversations, and live sessions.
The live eviction show is scheduled for Sunday night. At least one housemate will be leaving, though producers could announce a double eviction depending on votes and twists.
For the 19 nominees, this week is about survival. For the four safe housemates, it’s about watching, strategizing, and preparing for when their own turn comes.
Season 11 is themed around reinvention and second chances, and already we’re seeing that play out. No one is guaranteed safety, and one decision in the Diary Room or from the HoH can change everything.
As the week progresses, fans will be looking for key moments: who campaigns well, who forms unexpected alliances, and who cracks under pressure.
With a list this long, there are bound to be surprises. Some early favorites could be at risk. Some underdogs could pull through with strong public support
