Popular blogger and actress, Stella Damascus has advised her fans to always check up on their fellow humans. She said this in commemoration of World Mental Health Day.
The Edo-born blogger said that people should always check up on others, especially those they think are doing well.
“Make it a habit to check others. Especially those you think have it all together. You will be shocked that no one encourages the”. She said.
She also stated that people should always remember to call their parents and make them happy. She also advised parents to always check on their children.
“Don’t wait till when you hear that your parents are sick before you call to make them laugh. Most importantly check on your kids.”
According to her, kids sometimes battle mental health which they might not be able to relate to their parents.
“You may think they are too young to be affected by anything. That is wrong. Sometimes they go through stuff but don’t know how to tell you. Be a parent but don’t forget to be a friend too.”
