EBONYI GOVT DISTRIBUTE’S MOTORCYCLES TO LIVE STOCK FARMERS- BY MAXWELL OKECHUKWU ABAKALIKI

The Ebonyi state government under the administration  of Rt Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. has distributed brown motorcycle to Ebonyi state Livestock press in the Ministry of Agricultural and Natural Resources, to enable them reach those  Livestock farmers in every nook and cranny in the 13 local government Areas of Ebonyi state..

The distribution took place at the Ebonyi state Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Ochudo centenary city, Abakaliki, the state capital.

The State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Princess Mrs. Nkechineyere Iyoku.
Who represented the state governor at the distribution , expressed her gratitude  to the state governor, His Excllency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru
“The government has put  every effort to make sure that the distribution of the brown motorcycles is a reality. The governor has also demonstrated his total  commitment for the Live stock press(L – PRESS) since the beginning of his administration which made him to pay the huge amount of money as a counterpart fund in making Ebonyi state benefit in the Livestock press,” she noted

The commissioner also extended her gratitude to the SPC L- press Mr. Victor Nwite. and his management team for their  contributions and focus in sustaining the L- press program is ongoing n Ebonyi state.

Princess Mrs. Iyoku in return charged all the beneficiaries to work very hard with the motorcycles distributed to them in reaching those  farmers in their various locality in order to achieve it’s purpose and the task ahead of them to meet up with the mind of His Excllency Rt.Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru

She  added that when they  work hard the government will go an extra mile in boosting the state Economy  and also Increase the State internal Generating Revenue .(IGR).

On her part,  the resource person, Mrs. Obi Okoye Chidima,  the Animal husbandry officer, also thanked the   State Governor for giving them the opportunity to train the beneficiaries, as well as  providing them with their needed materials in the training,

she added that “the purpose of this training is for them to retrain others, mostly those Livestock farmers in the rural areas which is the major aim of the Governor for providing the brown motorcycle to make their service to the people easier for them.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke on behalf of others including Mr. Eze Richard from Ezza North Local government Area, Ebonyi state Who could not control his  joy highly thanked the state governor,  the Ebonyi state Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, princess Mrs. Nkechineyere Iyoku and the Animal husbandry officer Mrs. Obi Okoye

Chidima, on behalf of others promised that they will put their best efforts to ensure that the purpose of training and providing them with brown motorcycles will be of great benefits for the people of Ebonyi state, as this will encourage the state governor to do more for others in general.
