The Edo State Police Command has assured residents of the state of adequate security measures ahead of the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. The Command reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and property during the festive period, urging the public to celebrate without fear.
In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Moses Joel Yamu, the Command disclosed that additional security personnel and logistics have been mobilized to strategic locations across the state to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free celebration.
The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Monday Agbonika, fdc, called on residents to go about their lawful activities without apprehension, assuring that proactive policing strategies have been put in place to forestall any security breaches.
The Command also appealed to worshippers and residents to adhere to security advisories and safety protocols at all Eid prayer grounds, recreational centers, and public gatherings throughout the festive period.
