The Director General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, Dr. Mrs. Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor, paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.
The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships between state diaspora institutions and federal bodies towards better engagement, protection, and mobilization of Nigerians in the diaspora. Dr. Ogboro-Okor engaged with key officials of the ministry on collaborative frameworks, diaspora reintegration programs, and avenues to support Edo indigenes abroad.
The meeting also highlighted the need for a cohesive national-diaspora policy and reinforced Edo State’s commitment to empowering its diaspora population through strategic alliances and inclusive governance.
