The Edo State Government has announced the appointment of Miss Imuetinyan Otuomagie as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of New Edo Line Nigeria Ltd, as part of efforts to reposition the state’s transport sector and deliver modern, reliable, and affordable services to residents.
Her appointment comes alongside the unveiling of a new management team, following the directive of the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for the immediate commencement of operations by June 27, 2025.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the government confirmed the full list of appointees:
1. Imuetinyan Otuomagie — Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
2. Sunday Anetor — General Manager (Administration)
3. Henry Ozara Obozoakhai — General Manager (Operations)
4. Opitoke Marian — General Manager (Finance and Accounts)
5. Ugberaese Sylvester Osezua — Company Secretary
The appointees have been charged to bring their professional expertise and leadership to bear in repositioning the New Edo Line for operational excellence and dependable service delivery.
Governor Okpebholo congratulated the team, urging them to key into the administration’s commitment to infrastructural renewal and economic growth, particularly through efficient public transportation systems.
The appointments, according to the statement, take immediate effect.
The New Edo Line, under the new leadership, is expected to commence operations officially on June 27, 2025, providing inter-city and intra-city transport services, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Okpebholo’s vision for a progressive Edo State.
