The Commissioner who made the commendation during the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carol with the theme, “Perfect Gift” appreciated what the church is doing in the area.
According to him,” to encourage the church there is the need for synergy by every one, especially those in government from Egor local government area to contribute to the building of the church.
“We need a very good building to worship God and we must all contribute towards the building. God has given us the privilege to be where we are today. Let us bring our friends to make their contribution towards the building of God’s house in our constituency,” he noted.
The Commissioner who read the 7th lesson , Matthew 2: 1-12 made an handsome donation towards the building of the church and he assured that within a record time, the magnificent building would be ready for people to worship God.
The Pastor in charge of Edo Province 11, Okhoro, Pastor Joseph Bello disclosed that this is the first edition of the Festival Of Nine Lessons and Carol in the new auditorium under construction and he thanked every one who have contributed to the building of the church so far.
“We have all enjoyed the mercies and faithfulness of God in our lives one way or the other, because Its the Lords mercies that we are not consumed. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Every thing we need and every thing we will ever need is in Christ Jesus,” he added.
