FIRE DON KILL 14 NEWBORN PIKIN FOR PAKISTAN HOSPITAL AS BLACK SMOKE FULL MATERNITY WARD.

One serious fire for Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for Islamabad, Pakistan, don kill 14 newborn pikins, as authorities don start investigation to know how di fire take start and wetin really cause di tragedy.

Di fire happen early Wednesday, August 26, for third floor of di hospital Mother and Child Health Ward, where dem dey treat newborn pikins. Hospital officials and authorities for Pakistan don confirm say 14 babies die, while dem manage rescue at least one baby from di fire.

Early information show say di fire fit start from air conditioner for di neonatal ward. Pakistan Health Minister Mustafa Kamal talk say e look like say explosion from one air-conditioner na im trigger di fire. But authorities still dey investigate to confirm di real cause of di fire.

According to Pakistan official Associated Press of Pakistan, emergency service receive di call around 6:54 a.m. Six fire brigade trucks and four ambulances rush go di hospital. Capital Emergency Service say rescue teams reach di hospital about seven minutes after dem receive di emergency call and dem later control di fire.

But di tragedy don leave families with deep pain and anger. Some parents describe how heavy smoke full di hospital as people struggle to reach di babies wey dey trapped inside di ward. Some relatives also dey ask questions about whether di hospital get enough emergency equipment and proper fire safety arrangements.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif don order immediate investigation into di incident. Authorities dey try find out exactly wetin cause di fire and whether any mistake or failure for hospital management and safety system contribute to di deaths.

Di incident don also bring fresh concern about safety for public hospitals, especially wards wey dey care for premature babies and newborns wey need special medical attention, oxygen and constant monitoring.

Many of di babies wey dey inside di ward when di fire start reportedly dey receive intensive neonatal care. Because newborn babies fit hardly move by Dem self, any fire outbreak for maternity or neonatal ward fit become extremely dangerous within short time.

As families dey mourn di 14 babies wey lose dem lives, investigation go need determine exactly where di fire start, whether di hospital fire-prevention system dey work properly, and whether anybody or any institution suppose answer questions over di tragedy.

Di Islamabad hospital fire don once again put hospital safety and emergency preparedness for spotlight for Pakistan. For di families wey lose their children, di biggest question now na how fire inside hospital maternity ward fit turn into such heartbreaking loss of innocent newborn lives.
