Popular actress and movie producer, Funke Akindele, has pleaded with her fans to see her new movie Omo Ghetto, once it hits the cinemas on Christmas day.
Reminiscing on the efforts she put into the movie, Funke Akindele after the successful star-studded premiere of the movie on Sunday night, wrote “2020!! My year of never giving up despite all the challenges!!! #omoghettothesaga our movie!! Your movie!!
I gave this project my all!! Guys, Please make sure you all go out to watch this movie from the 25th of Dec (XMAS DAY) in all cinemas nationwide!!!”
Recall that the actress missed her father’s burial ceremony to shoot some scenes alongside Eniola Badmus in Dubai for the movie, early this year.
The movie Omo Ghetto (The Saga) is a sequel from Omo Ghetto which was released a few years ago, directed by Abiodun Olarenwaju and produced by Funke Akindele-Bello.
The movie stars Funke Akindele-Bello, Peju Ogunmola, Eniola Badmus, Bimbo Thomas, Rachel Oniga, Adebayo Salami, Taiwo Hassan, Yinka Quadri, Ronke Ojo, Bisi Komolafe, and it follows the lives of two identical twins living separate lives. An unfortunate incident sheds more light on their birth, paternity, and troubling behavior.
A sequel for this classic – Omo Ghetto (The Saga) – is set for cinema release on December 25, 2020.
