GOV ENO WAN JOIN HAND WITH KOREA FOR AKWA IBOM BIG BIG DEVELOPMENT.

Di Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, don open door for South Korea make dem come partner with Akwa Ibom for technology, industry and economic development.

Gov Eno make dis call for Uyo when South Korea Ambassador to Nigeria, Ambassador Jeong Yo-an, visit di state. Di Ambassador also give special lecture for University of Uyo, where e talk about Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart farming and blue economy as areas wey fit help Africa grow.

Gov Eno, wey Deputy Governor Senator Akon Eyakenyi represent for di meeting, tok say Akwa Ibom get plenty natural resources, good location and business opportunities wey Korean investors fit tap into. E say Nigeria and South Korea already get strong economic relationship, with trade between both countries reaching more than $2.1 billion, and Akwa Ibom wan make sure say di state benefit well-well from dis relationship.

Di Governor invite Korean companies make dem look inside opportunities for manufacturing, agriculture, technology, AI and blue economy. E say Korean technology, industrial experience and manufacturing strength fit help Akwa Ibom create more jobs, improve production and make di state economy stronger. E also point out say AI and digital technology dey move fast, so young people need proper digital skills to compete for future opportunities.

According to Gov Eno, di state don establish Youth Development Centres across all 31 Local Government Areas to train young people for digital work, entrepreneurship and vocational skills. E also say di government smart agriculture programme dey fit well with South Korea development experience, especially di way Korea use rural development, human capital and community participation to transform their economy.

For him side, Ambassador Jeong Yo-an say strong institutions and skilled people na key to long term development. E use South Korea own journey from poverty to prosperity as example, especially di Saemaul Undong rural development movement wey promote hard work, self help and cooperation. E encourage Nigerians to learn from Korea experience, build strong institutions and invest more for people.
