Katsina State Governor, was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening along the Daura-Katsina highway, shortly after visiting the residence of late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura.
The incident occurred as the governor was returning from condolence visits following Buhari’s passing.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, the government confirmed the accident but assured the public that Governor Radda did not sustain any serious injuries.
“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.
Mohammed added that the governor remains in high spirits and has expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for divine protection, while also thanking the people of Katsina State and other well-wishers for their prayers and concern.
The Katsina State Government reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and public communication and urged citizens to disregard any exaggerated reports of the incident.
