Hon. Chief Billy Adesuwa Famous Osawaru, the distinguished member representing Orhionmwon/Uhunmwode Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, hosted a grand Easter celebration for his constituents. The event, which took place in a lively and colorful atmosphere, was aimed at bringing together members of the constituency in the spirit of unity, festivity, and goodwill.
The Easter celebration, which has become an annual tradition under the leadership of Chief Osawaru, was marked by music, dance, food, and various activities designed to entertain and uplift the people. Families, youths, and elders from different communities within the constituency gathered in large numbers to participate in the event.
In his remarks, Chief Osawaru expressed gratitude to his people for their unwavering support and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality representation at the National Assembly. In attendance were Party leaders from Orhionnwon, Chief Friday Omoragbon, the Osaguobadiye of Benin, leaders from Uhunmwode, Hon. Napoleon Agbama, Hon. Roland Alari, hon. Lawson Osarerehe, key political figures, traditional rulers, youth leaders, Members of Edo Women Vanguard, led by its DG Hon. Sweet Oghogho and women’s groups from both Orhionmwon and Uhunmwode local government areas.
Guests at the event were treated to an exquisite array of local and continental dishes. The culinary experience was complemented by captivating musical performances, ranging from traditional rhythms to contemporary tunes, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere for all in attendance.
The Easter party concluded on a high note, with attendees commending Chief Osawaru for his generosity, leadership, and dedication to the well-being of his people. Many described the celebration as a reflection of the lawmaker’s humility and deep connection with the grassroots.
