Jah, catapulted to limelight with his debut album “Big man” released in Nigeria in 1990 and ganerd Platinum album after selling 650,000 units only .If you recall, the Nigerian reggae exporter Winnining Jah also performed at Sanremo music Festival and Rototom Sunsplash Festival in Udine (Italy) in 1998, sharing stage with popular Jamaican musicians like Shaggy and Burning Spear.

Winning Jah had received hundreds of awards since he turned stardom as a Reggae musician, most upcoming and popular reggae musicians had cited Winning Jah in Nigeria and other west Africa countries for paving way for them . Winning Jah’s popularity in Africa was triggered by his live performances of his Albums and singles all over European music festivals, as a guest artist along side music giants such as Baba Sissoko, Mamady Keita, Tiken Jah Fakoly and Africa Unite . He was also first Nigerian reggae musician who toured with his reggae music and performed as a guest artist at Sanremo music Festival and Rototom Sunsplash in 1998. In 2006, he stormed 2006 Winter Paralympics in Pinerolo to perform as a special guest artist. The Big Man crooner, Winning Jah has carved a niche for himself through Reggae music all over Africa, amongst his recognitions received was Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) awarded to him by Nigeria ex president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan , for his immense music contribution .
