Nigerian content creators Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, and Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, are expecting their first child.
Jarvis reportedly confirmed the pregnancy in a TikTok post on Thursday, October 8, 2026, bringing an end to months of speculation surrounding the couple.
The announcement follows an earlier livestream involving the couple in which Jarvis was heard making an unplanned reference to a baby kicking. During the broadcast, she reportedly said, “the baby is kicking,” before Peller quickly reacted and appeared to try to move the conversation away from the remark. The clip began circulating on social media on October 3.
The development has attracted reactions from fans and social media users, particularly because the couple had previously faced repeated pregnancy speculation.
In August, Jarvis had publicly denied that she was pregnant, explaining that changes in her appearance were linked to weight-gain supplements. Peller also addressed the speculation that month, saying he would not be able to keep such news private if his wife were actually pregnant.
Earlier reports had also linked the pregnancy speculation to videos and photographs in which some social media users claimed to notice a change in Jarvis’ appearance. However, one set of viral images from their court wedding was later found by TheCable Fact Check to have been AI-generated.
The pregnancy news comes months after the couple’s highly publicised relationship milestones. Peller and Jarvis got married in 2026, with their civil wedding reported in July and their white wedding taking place in August.
Peller had also spoken publicly about plans for fatherhood before the latest confirmation. In September, he discussed creating a TikTok account for his future child and said he hoped to grow the account to 500,000 followers before handing it over to the child after birth.
The couple have not publicly disclosed the baby’s sex or an expected delivery date in the reports reviewed.
